晚上七点半，天开始黑了。我们买完票往里走，哇，这么多人来坐摩天轮，排着长长的队呢。不过很快就轮到我们了，因为一个包厢可以容纳8个人。我和妈妈还有阿姨、苗逢霖他们一共6个人坐了一个包厢。包厢里很宽敞，一圈座椅，四面是透明玻璃，而且有空调，凉飕飕的。开始升空了，速度很慢，平稳得几乎感觉不到在动。渐渐地我看到我们和周围的高楼一般高了。妈妈让我往下看，下面是弯弯曲曲的海河，我看了一下，觉得腿有点软，太高了，我不敢动了。只好往远处看。天完全黑了，到处都闪烁着灯火，海河上有几座不同形状的桥也都点缀着颗颗彩灯，真是好看。到了最高的地方(100多米)，我们照了很多相，接着便开始下降了。这一圈转了半个小时，可是我觉得那么短暂，真想再坐一次。
“天津之眼”真像天津的眼睛，在夜幕中闪闪发光。
