1. Hi, I’m Emily. Every school day, I ride Cliffo to school. Usually he waits for me in the schoolya. One day, he sees his pals. They invite him to a construction site to play.
嗨！我是Emily。每天，我骑着我的Cliffo去学校。通常，Cliffo在校园里等我。有一天，他看到几个朋友，他们邀请他去一个建筑工地玩。
2. Some workers are knocking down old walls with a big ball. Cliffo thinks it will be fun to play with the ball.

3. The workers don’t think it’s fun. Cliffo and his pals run away fast.
工人们并不觉得好玩。Cliffo和他的朋友飞快地跑了。
4. Next Cliffo’s pals find some big pipes to play inside. Cliffo also tries to play in the pipe. But he is too big. The pipe breaks into pieces.
接着Cliffo的朋友发现了一些大管子，就在里面玩。Cliffo也想在里面玩。但是他太大了，管子裂成了好几片。
5. The workers are angry. They put Cliffo’s pals in a pen. Cliffo finds a way to help his pals.
工人们生气了。他们把 Cliffo 的朋友关在一个围栏里。Cliffo 找到了一个办法来救他的朋友。
6. Now the workers are more angry. They put Cliffo in a big strong net.
现在，工人们更加生气了。他们把Cliffo罩在一个牢固的大网里。
7. His pals cut the ropes with their teeth to help Cliffo.

8. They all run back to the schoolya. Cliffo and his pals never will play near a construction site again.
